Being an Empath in a "3D world"
Sometimes, things just feel. That's right, you read that correctly.
Sometimes...things just... Feel, and feel all the time. Being both a
mystic and an an empath in a very logic-centric world is, well, full
of the FEELS. Granted, I am speaking from my personal experience,
but the nature of being an empath is all about feeling. I feel my way
and tap into my emotional response to others on a moment-to-moment
basis. And not just others (Disclaimer: Entering the "woo" state)
things: animals, trees, plants, objects, anything with consciousness, and
those without all possess some element of feeling because all is made
of energy... however, I digress, but this will be a topic for another Mon-Daze
(I've always loved a good pun.)
You might be wondering what I mean by the "3D" world. P.S. if you have
stuck with me this far, thank you! Well that is a reference to the material world.
To the things we can perceive with our five senses; sight, sound, smell, touch
and taste.
But there is more to our world and human experience than just the 3D.
There is our intuition, the knowing we all have when we talk into a place
and something just feels off, or how when a loved one has passed who we
were particularly close to we are sure that we had a dream with them in it or
maybe they loved cardinals and one just so happened to be on your windowsill
this morning. These moments we all experience as humans, are often beyond
logic. They connect us to a far richer experience, to a world that is a little
more mystical, mysterious, magical and fun-- if we let it be. But back to
being an empath, in this 3D world, on a Monday in my office...
Hope you are having a good Monday and starting the week with some food
for thought. This blog will be written every Monday and is an ode to the empath,
the mystic, the outsider, the "woo-woo", the ancient, and the different way of
experiencing spirituality that most of us have experienced, felt known about
but were afraid to think about, or even maybe have just been curious.
This is for you. :) See you next week.
